Potatoes Klepon ( Klepon Kentang )



Material :

  • 100 g brown sugar, finely comb
  • 25 g sugar
  • 175 ml warm water
  • Water 1 liter
  • White rice flour 200 g, sifted
  • 150 g of steamed potatoes, steamed, peeled, crushed
  • Salt 1 / 2 tsp
  • Green food coloring to taste


Topping :

  • 200 g grated coconut
  • Salt 1 / 2 tsp
  • 2 pieces of pandan leaves, make a knot


How to make:

  • Topping: mix all ingredients, steam for 20 minutes. Lift, set aside
  • Mix glutinous rice flour, potato and salt and stir until well blended
  • Add green food coloring and knead the dough until the immune
  • Mix the brown sugar and granulated sugar comb, mix well
  • Take 1 tablespoon of potato mixture, make into a flat, then fill with 1 / 2 teaspoon sugar
  • Make up the dough to cover all surfaces
  • Do it until the dough out
  • Boil water, put the dough balls, allow it to float
  • Remove and drain
  • Roll klepon into the flat topping ingredients
  • Serve
